Multi-service façade maintenance program

Our long-term engagement at 1 Central Park involved providing an annual window cleaning service spread throughout the year to cover the entire site. A dedicated team of at least four rope access technicians was on-site daily, performing not only window cleaning but also essential building maintenance tasks. 

This included resealing windows to address leaks, trimming and cutting back overgrown foliage from the building’s signature hanging gardens, and carrying out window polishing to remove calcium staining and leaching. The ability to perform multiple services on a single rope drop significantly reduced the time and cost associated with separate service visits. 

The project presented unique challenges due to the building’s complex façade design, restricted access caused by vegetation growth, and reliance on a frequently faulty BMU. By combining rope access skills with broad maintenance capabilities, our team ensured the building was consistently maintained to the highest standards despite operational obstacles.
