Our team was engaged to provide a multi-service maintenance program at Burrinjuck Dam, supporting engineers with both external and internal works. This included concrete inspections along the dam wall, timber element bracing, and repairs to internal walls and penstocks. We also carried out resealing and repainting to extend the lifespan of structural components.
In addition to maintenance, Specialist Height Access was responsible for providing standby rescue coverage for other contractors working at height. This involved supervising their activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, verifying correct use of height safety equipment, and being ready to perform an immediate rescue if needed.
The project’s remote location required careful logistical planning, and our technicians worked in both high-exposure external areas and confined internal spaces. Operating in these environments demands not only advanced technical skills but also the ability to manage risk in challenging, high-stakes conditions.
