SOLUTION DELIVERED

Precision elevator cladding & glazing installation

Our team was engaged to assist 3K Elevators with the installation of cladding and glazing in the new Martin Place Metro Station. The work involved operating in tall internal voids at height, positioning and securing glass panels and cladding sections that formed the visible finish of each elevator shaft.

The challenge lay in the unique nature of each panel — with varying dimensions and shapes, installation required meticulous planning, accurate positioning, and seamless coordination with the client’s team. Efficiency was key, as reduced installation time translated directly into cost savings for the client without compromising quality.

By combining rope access, elevated work platform operations, and complex rigging systems, our skilled technicians ensured each component was installed precisely and securely. The successful delivery of this project further reinforced Specialist Height Access’s reputation for handling complex, high-precision installation works in major infrastructure projects.

We have since also completed similar works in a further 6 metro stations.
