Specialist Height Access is proud to be working alongside Skylar Education in offering Safe Working at Heights Refresher Training.
This course has been designed as a refresher course for students with an existing Working Safely at Heights qualification. It provides students with a verification of competency on how to correctly use fall protection equipment in a range of environments.
Exposing students to working at heights risks in multiple real-life scenarios helps them understand how to manage those risks in the workplace. Students will be able to identify the hazards of work at height and have an understanding of key legislation.
Following training, students will be able to understand the various categories of personal fall prevention and protection equipment (PPE), including their characteristics and limitations. Students will also be required to carry out pre and post use inspections of all equipment.
This is a half day course which includes theory and practical components.
The following national units of competencies are delivered and assessed by Skylar Education RTO 21647
