Specialist Height Access is proud to be offering students with Milan Rescue Training.

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical experience to enable them to rescue a fellow worker using a Milan rescue kit, in the event of an emergency.

This is a half day course which includes theory and practical components.

Upon successful completion of the course

Duration: Half Day (4 hours)

Cost: $275 Inc. GST

Prerequisites

Students must hold an in date Working at Height certificate. All students must be eligible to receive nationally recognised training within Australia and be able to provide an unique student identifier (USI) upon enrolment

Entry Requirements:

• Students must have the physical capacity to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills including gaining access, working, and egress from a place of height whilst wearing the appropriate PPE
• Students must have sufficient English language, literacy, numeracy and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the course
• Students must wear normal work clothing and enclosed footwear
• Students must present photo ID upon arrival

• Legislation and standards
• Hazard analysis and risk assessment
• The importance of rescue provision
• Individual and team safety
• Anchor points and rigging, including edge protection
• Rescue techniques – casualty management
• The use of work restraint and positioning techniques
• Height safety techniques
